We are all the time losing stuff. It isn't so much me losing stuff as my husband and kids losing stuff, it being my fault, and me having to find said lost things. This morning, husband dawdled and would not wake up. He finally does, 10 minutes before time to leave for work. Now, this is normally OK, but today, he could not find the car keys. Here is our convo, as I am wresting a toddler to get a clean diaper on. him: where'd you put the keys last night? me: *stop wiggling Bradley* you unlocked the door, not me him: no, I didn't... wait, yes I did, but I gave you the keys me:*Bradley, stop it, it will fall off if you keep that up* No you did not. They were on the dresser until you started playing Resident Evil, and then they were gone. him: ok, what did you do with them then?? me:*all done Bradley, go lay down* Nothing, I was cooking and filling out my school app. him: oh well, I'll drive the truck, you find the keys, ok? by the way, you had them, and you lost them. me and him: various yelling not fit for Bimbo he stomps out. I tear up the house for 20 minutes until almost 6am (oh yea, is early here, I am not amused) and FINALLY find the STUPID keys AND the can opener he could not find last night after playing with it the day before, in a laundry basket, under clothes. Mind you, he had just dug through the basket since I had not yet put the clothes in the dressers looking for socks. So he had his hands on the keys... So, we go through this process at least twice a week. And my older 2 kids are gone this week, but they do this EVERY day with me. It is always my fault that things are lost and I have to find them.

Hotness

It is soooooooooo hot in my house right now. Making spaghetti and garlic bread, so the oven is on and baking not just the bread! Robert took the kids to the lake to get them out of my hair and to spend some Father/Daughter/oldest son time together. He, of course, never takes Bradley, which is beginning to PISS me off, but oh well.
Speaking of Bradley, he is such a butt head. Soaking kittens, almost killing them, making mess after mess, after mess. Oh, and tantrums. Boy can he throw a fit. As of right now I have him in his room chilling out so dinner could be finished and the living room cleaned of the cat food he had slung all over. Not letting him out til Robert gets home and can help me out.
Waiting on 9pm so I can watch True Blood. Doing a paper. And being annoyed out of my head by someone.

See? I came back!

Been a long few days.
The power was out most of today, a truck hit an electric pole, knocked the power and cable out. It was soooooooo hot. We went to the stores to cool off. Went to a thrift store, got Nikki some shorts and Robert some cute shirts. Then to Wal-Mart. Got some cleaning supplies, Robert some shorts, Bradley a new outfit. Oh, and the Twilight board game. Also had to get some kitten food, cats are eating like pigs.
An odd/sad event occurred in Wal-Mart... Nikki is 8 years old, but she can fit size 1-3 in miss/junior clothes. The shorts would be soooooooo short on older girls, but go to her knees, and the capris are like long pants on her. Just was odd, but made me sad realizing she is growing up.
Bryan's kindergarten school list arrived Friday. He has a large list, so glad we have it now and can buy here and there all summer. I have 3 kids to buy school clothes for this year. Nikki is going to get 5 new outfits, as are the boys. The boys have tons of clothes. Nikki has been growing out of everything, she is 49 inches tall. 13 inches shorter than me!
We brought Cotton's sister in. She is yeloowy-orange colored, so we named her Sunny. The third kitten found a home. Smudge is getting lovey, which is a sign of impending labor. Peanut is in hog heaven with babies in the house again for her to look after. And Snuffy is just happy that he can jump from the ottoman to the bed since we put him on weight control dog food.
Big day of cleaning tomorrow. A friend is coming to visit from Texas on Monday! Can't wait to meet you Jen!

Ah, homework is done

I'm working on my bedtime. I have become such a night owl that my home is neglected and I feel awful all the time. Here it is after 2am and I am awake and still up puttering around the house. I did accomplish something... I got homework done. I don't know what I will do when I am taking 4 classes in September. Go insane or fail are my 2 guesses!
Robert and I got into a fight. He was watching a movie and I fell asleep. The kids were still up. So, he woke me up yelling at me to put the kids to bed and to do my homework. I felt bad, but I yelled back that he could help get them to bed. We both got them to bed. Bryan is still awake, the lil butt head, he has so much trouble FALLING asleep. Bradley has trouble staying asleep. Nikki just sleeps.
They are being awful with the not listening to me crap they are pulling. I am going to pull the carpet up in the boys' room this weekend. My dog Peanut seems to think it is a good spot to pee. Which means stinky carpet. I have cleaned and cleaned it to no avail. So, the carpet comes up this weekend and next week sometime we will put linoleum down. Easier to clean.

Long time no update

I solemnly swear to update at least twice a week.

Where to start?
Well, kids are out of school for summer which means I'm out of my mind for summer... All they do is make messes man. Nikki was tested to see if she had any disabilities before school let out, she does not, but she has to have intervention next school year for her reading and some math. Bryan is all registered for kindergarten. And is sooooo ready. Bradley is all registered for Head Start, just have to get him potty trained before August. Which he goes potty 10% of the time right now.
Robert is working hard, 10 hour days this week. Work is picking up and they expanded, so yay for that.
I'm still in school. Hating my history class right now. With a passion. Oh well. I just gotta get it to an A or I will screw my GPA. I like my nutrition class. Very cool. 4 weeks left of these classes.
Oh, and if you read this, you know how big a fan I am of the website Miss Bimbo... Well, they honored me by letting me moderate the site. Over a million users!! I work with an awesome team, the users are amazing. It is hard work, but is very rewarding when I can help someone or stop someone from being rude or mean.

Busy again, as usual

It was nice on Monday, but Tuesday and today have been cold!!! I miss the 70s!
With this stupid changeable Ohio weather comes sick kids. Bryan has a runny nose and cough. Bradley has croup again. No fun.
I had to read 8 short stories this week for class. That was fun. And a bunch for psych class. Heck, weekend. Friday was my birthday, and it WAS hectic. I was home alone with the boys and we cleaned and then went for a walk to a friends house. Then Bryan stayed while I walked Bradley home and we chilled out. A bit later we walked back to get Bryan. Robert worked late and brought me home some Chipotle. He made me a German Chocolate cake.

Saturday was absolutely beautiful. Nikki had a game in the morning, Robert took her to it and I slept in since the boys were still out. When he got home, I slept the day away. Then in the afternoon we cleaned the yard up and let the kids play. They were outside from like 10am until 7ish. Then we watched the first 3 Harry Potter movies.

Today we relaxed, kids played, we cooked out on the grill. Has been nice.

Pics!!

Bryan playing with his cell phone and dancing

Bradley being sweet

Nikki after cheering at her first game

Nikki and Robert going to the Father-Daughter Dance the day before Valentine's Day

Fun times, yo

I hate finals week. My body feels out of whack during finals week. It doesn't help that this is a busy kinda week to begin with.
Yesterday was ok. I just did laundry. Like always.
Today will not be so awesome. Today I need to kinds deep clean my house. At least the stupid living room, my room, my kitchen, and the bathroom. Bryan's teacher is coming at 4:30 for a home visit. Then I have to go to Nikki's parent-teacher conference at 6. It is a big conference because we are going to ask that she be tested for dyslexia and ask that she be put back into reading recovery. Hopefully she will be able to turn it around and pass to third grade.
I also have to work on my finals this week. They are due on Sunday, but we have a nice and busy weekend, so I have to have them finished by Friday!!!
Saturday is Nikki's last game. She is cheering at 9 something in the morning.
Sunday my mom and dad in law are taking all of us to the Newport Aquarium. Fun, woohoo.
So, I gotta bust out these final projects like yesterday. Good thoughts and prayers I get through this week please?

Vent, ignore

Argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!
I HATE MY INLAWS SO MUCH IT PYSICALLY HURTS ME TO BE NEAR THEM. Getting her ears checked. Then take her back to school. Tomorrow night we are starting to tear up the bathroom. This weekend will be mostly bathroom remodeling. We have so much to do. Saturday morning Nikki has her first basketball game to cheer for. I also have 2 papers due on Sunday that I have not begun at all!

Took my goggies for walks...

My poor Snuffy is so fat he can barely fit his new harness we got him. I took Peanut to the bus and the mail box when we had to put Bryan on the bus. Of course, the drive is iced over and I about lost it. I jerked my arms up to correct my balance and yanked my poor dog up. She gave me an EVIL look. Then later I took Snuffy to the mail box since the mail hadn't ran yet before. He anchored me!

Bradley had a bad day, he was grouchy and misbehaved a lot.

Busy day

Wow, we got lots done today. It will sure feel good to write it out, take a long hot bath, and then sleep for 7 hours!
First off, I woke up with Nikki at 7:15am. She got herself ready for school, which I love. Bryan got up with her and I made him a bowl of cereal. After Nikki went to school, he laid down in my bed and we took a small snooze from 8am until 9ish. My mom in law called then. Her and dad in law were leaving to go to Indiana to the Argosy Riverboat to gamble. Woohoo. Maybe they will win big and share some with me! I have to look after their dogs and cat for 2 days. No big.
Then, I got Bryan ready for school and got Bradley dressed for the day. Poor lil guy needed some outside time, he was going stir crazy! So, we went outside to wait on Bryan's bus a little early and played. After Bryan was off to school Bradley and I went to visit the neighbor and her only kid at home. He is Jashua and him and Bradley are the same age. They played a while, then Jamie and I took them on a walk to the mail box. By then it was noon, so Bradley and I went and cleaned our living room really well. It still needs work, but is much better now. Then we played more and cleaned more. Robert called to say he was on his way home at 2:30pm, so we got the rest of the house descent.
Bradley bonked his head, so we cuddled a while, then he yelled at me to lay down with him. We cuddled in my bed until daddy got home. Then he joined us!! We all 3 took a nice, quiet nap until 4:45pm when Nikki and Bryan got home. We got all spiffied up and went out to dinner and to look for a toilet latch. Bradley has this really bad habit of putting toys in our toilet and flushing them. And we have to rip the toilet up and snake it out!
Well, we could not find a toilet latch, so shop another day. I got some new lip balm and hubs got a surround sound system for the bedroom, like we need it!! We also got the pets new collars and brushes. Snuffy is cute in his orange and silver harness, Peanut lookis positively princessly in her pink collar.
Robert is trying so hard to quit smoking. He is using the patch, but he still is always wanting a cigarette. Someone at work gave him one today. And he had to start all over in his withdrawls. He is miserable. I am trying, but grumpy him biting my head off does not make me feel supportive!!
We came home, everyone but me went to bed, and I enjoyed some quiet time. Now I am off to my hot bath. I need to relax some of my muscles!

Gosh, I suck

But I did post some pics of the kids.
So, still busy, school is keeping me insane. Those were awesome. I guess I can upload some pics of it and show off. Kids got mountains of toys.
Nikki turned 8 on me. She should still belittle with curls. And with no back talk. Those were the days!! She got an iPod and an attitude for her birthday.
Then, there is school still. I know, am I not finished yet??? No, I am not.
Right now I am taking a very boring class on the American Education system and a not quite so boring class on Human Services In America [insert super hero voice here].
Plus, other than these few things, precious little is going on.

Bryan will be 5 in a week. This is making me a weepy mess. We are having a party at Donato's pizza for him. Will be fun. Going tomorrow/today? to get his presents. He is getting Tag Reader books and a game for our new PS3. Yay for that. And a belt, he needs one badly.

We realized we have been neglecting our outside dogs and have brought them in. They are now part-timers inside. They need to gain weight, get warm, and be silly dogs again. We fed them and all, but with the weather, they were not getting enough calories, so they are in now. My poor fur babies. Dumble and Bucky hate the cat though. Poor Smudge has been traumatized by them. She sits and shivers and hisses when they are in!!

We are kinda potty training Bradley. Never having actually potty trained a child before I am a bit lost about it. Nikki was trained by my mom and Bryan was my angel who trained himself. Bradley likes the potty seat. He likes his undies. He likes to pee his pants. Oh well, can't have it all.

See ya later. Going to sleep and will update pics later!!

Ho;y Crap...

It has been too long. Wow, did not realize I had neglected my poor blog for so long.

OK, update time.

Nikki is about to turn 8. Yea, that is nuts, she is my baby, my first born and all. Why is she still growing? She should still be 5, 5 is the perfect age for her. She was good at 5, she did not sigh and roll her eyes. She did not mumble under her breath and talk back. Ah, but maybe 8 will be a good year. She is doing well in school. Reading above her grade level finally.
Bryan. Bryan is Bryan. He is a silly kid. He makes me laugh a 100 times a day. He also makes me want to pull my hair out that many times a day too. He is enjoying his few hours of school each say and the bus ride. He likes to play outside, but it is cold and wet here now. He will be 5 soon. Hope 5 is as good to him as it was to Nikki. He likes to tell us very often that he will be big soon, 5 is very big you know. He had a tummy virus, it involved a chocolate pie bein vomited onto me and my comforter in the middle of the night.
Bradley is goofy. He is sleeping semi-normally. He hates my singing and thinks my dancing sucks. He likes animals, especially cats (key-yees), dogs(mogs), and horses(carsees). He also likes dinosaurs, trains, and making a mess. He is afraid of the potty. Deathly afraid. He hates shoes, socks, and pants. Heck, we may as well say clothes, because he takes his shirts and diapers off too.
Robert is working a lot. Busy time of year I guess. All those furnaces breaking and needing parts. He is getting over the flu. Poor guy was so sore and sick, feverish for days.
I have been battling bronchitis for a few weeks now. It is awful. And part of the reason I am awake at almost 6am writing in my blog. If I lay down, I cough. If I cough, no one sleeps. Been on a cleaning spree. Getting ready for the holidays. I am ready to bring on the tree. And the holiday food. Bring on the turkey.
Did I tell you we got a cat? Smudge?
Well, Smudge almost died. She was one sick kitty. Had mites and an infection. Made it hard for her to walk. She was lifeless for a week. I found a caring vet who is also cheap. It made me happy that sge lived. So happy I have began spoiling her with canned cat food and not complaining about the litter she throws all over when she goes.

Been a while, sorry

Hey readers, it has been too long, but I have been hyper busy lately. School is a mess right now. I have a paper due every week practically. I have all kinds of assignments due and all kinds of not real fun stuff to do for school. The kids are in school, so after 11:20am Bradley is an only child for several hours. Robert goes to work at 2ish, so it is just Brad and me from then until almost 5.
We got the remnants of Hurricane Ike, it was pretty bad. We had winds up to 70 mph. We were told it was a Category 1 hurricane with a F1.5 tornado all at once. It was scary. A bunch of huge branches fell into our yard, we were lucky.
Nikki is getting into pageants. She was in the Little Miss Good Old Days last weekend. She did not win, but she had fun. She was upset about not winning. She rode in the parade, waved at everyone she saw, and threw candy. Bradley was awake and full of beans. He picked up the kitten... Poor Smudge, she got dumped into the bucket. I had to clean her up, then dry her off. I am so tired, but cannot sleep. It is starting to get really bad. I figure if I fall asleep around midnight I might just stay asleep all night. I hope anyway. I have been sick from it. I vomit, have fevers, and all because I am so run down from not sleeping.
Nikki came home from school today and fell off the step, which wasn't funny, but her face when she did was. Kind of a OMG, did anyone see that? look. Bryan and Robert found a kitten today. It is all white with a smudge of gray fur on it's head. We named her Smudge. Bradley has been carrying her around by her neck, so any advice to stop that behavior is appreciated. Bryan wanted this kitten so bad he went to his room, dig out his allowance for the last 6 weeks, and then asked us to take him to buy the kitty a box, litter, food and a bowl. He has scooped the box for it too. She had an accident on the floor though. I hope it was her last.

Woo, it is such a day!!

Been a long day so far and will be a longer week. My excess funds check was mailed yesterday, so next week I should get my check. I really need it too. We are leaving for the weekend Saturday night and coming back Monday afternoon. Family reunion and all. We were going to stay in a hotel but my dad bought a motor home, so we are going to stay in it. I am going to make a yummy dump cake to take with me and a big bowl of potato salad.
I am waiting the next 10 minutes until I can go get Nikki from the bus stop.
Bryan has some fake money and is asking if he can buy just about everything in my house, lol. Bradley is tugging EVERY toy in the house into my bedroom.
