A bit less sore

My back feels a bit better today. I only needed one pain pill all day. Ad I did not laze in bed all day. I didn't do much. I cleaned the living room and made dinner. Played with my kids. Watched movies all day.
I filled out a college application today. And a a FAFSA form. I am going to finally go to college. I am so excited, I really want to do this.
So, keep me in your prayers, and hope I can get the aid I need and can go!

Sore!

I hurt my back this week. Wen o the ER. I have a strained muscle in my back. Got some pain pills and told to stay in bed. They obviously thin I am a woman of leisure... So, I laid down as much as I could today. Then cleaned up my kitchen a bit. Did some laundry. That never, ever ends. Then we went to buy some food. Food is my favorite thing. Gonna finish cleaning and then make something to snack on.
Kids are good. Nikki only had school one day this last week. Damn snow days. And Bryan had school on Thursday, but I had to cancel due to Veronica's funeral. Then his cluster was canceled Friday as a make up snow day. But was turned into a snow day. Bradley is a meanie.
The funeral, I didn't go. My back was killing me. It hurt so bad. I got the kids ready and stuff while Rob went. Then we went to Robert's aunt Debbie's house to eat and be together. Kids seemed ok. It was so sad.

If all goes well

I am going on a date tonight! My husband and I need some much needed time away from the kids! I can't wait. We are gonna go buy me a new desk and go out to dinner. I cannot wait.
On a sad note, Robert's cousin Veronica passed away yesterday. She was in car accident. And she had 4 kids, it is so sad.

Freaking cleaning

I have spent all day cleaning. And only half of my tiny mobile home is clean. So, I am taking a break and watching last night's Jericho.
Bradley is stacking shoes on top of other stuff. And Nikki and Bryan are watching cartoons. I am thinking about what I want to make for dinner. No clue yet. Nikki went to Grandma's house for a while today.

Brrrrr

It is so cold. I am a big ball of shivers.
Spent my day on the phone with Old Navy. Trying to fix a mistake. I hope it is all better by tomorrow. I got a delivery from them today. A new dress for me, and an outfit for each kid. I gotta go to Wal-Mart and get a tank top for under it. It is too low cut.
Kids are making Valentine's day cards for their classmates. And Bradley is attempting to help. I made a spicy gumbo for dinner.

Went overboard

And spent too much of our income tax return. Hubby got Guitar Hero III. We got new mattress and bedding. And a rug and all kinds of stuff. We have enough to pay bills and either file bankruptcy or upgrade our car to a better one. Maybe a new van. I dunno why, but we get a few dollars and we get a little crazy. Oh well.
