I hate CRT 205

This class is my last hurdle for this block. Everything else is turned in and hopefully about to be graded. CRT is giving me fits though!! I have probably put over 10 hours into the final for it, and am not even 3/4 done yet. I am almost to the 3/4 mark though. I am sure some of you are thinking, what on Earth is CRT 205? I will tell you. It is a class about critical thinking. Shouldn't be too hard right?? Wrong, it is so hard, it makes my head hurt to read it. I seriously feel like I want to rip my hair out when I am working on it. I think it is a class you either love it or you love to hate it. I have a 95% average so far, but I am thinking this final will pull it pretty far down.

The final involves finding 4 articles. I go to opposing viewpoints database, find 2 topics that look promising. Then I find an article I like for each topic, then I find one with an opposing viewpoint for those 2 articles. Then, I read the article and nit pick it to pieces with my 10 questions designed to drive a sane person mad. A total of 40 answers need to be provided, with examples of the answer, and how I found the answer. I have 13 questions left to answer.

On the up side, Bryan and Nikki are gone to my dad's for a week, so I should have plenty of time to do this stupid, stupid final before Sunday at midnight when it is due. If Bradley does not drive me batty with his constant need for attention. I love him, but if I do not pay enough attention, wow, he just gets destructive!

OK, so I lied, I buckled down this morning and finished the whole thing. The last article was easier than the 3rd one, so it went fast. I am going to spend the rest of my week playing with my son and then start on my next classes Saturday. Maybe end up a week ahead!!

I am glad to know I'm not the only one who isn't enjoying this class. I got burned by the course syllabus on the assignment due day 7 week 1. It would have been nice if the syllabus would have mentioned that you needed to include 2 references from the week one reading.

Are there any other syllabus pitfalls I should be aware of for this class?
